There is so much conflicting information about what to eat, what not to eat, what the best vitamins are, to do cardio or weights.
Perhaps you are new to it all and want to be the healthiest and happiest version of yourself you can be at this time in your life. Perhaps you were already there and Menopause has made it more difficult to do what you used to or get the results you used to get.
As women we are often seeking advice from people without the lived experience, which can sometimes feel unauthentic, over simplified or judgemental. Relying on social media platforms for help and advice as we are underrepresented in the fitness world and in gyms in particular.
If you are struggling with motivation to achieve a health or fitness goal or you’re looking for a listening ear, perhaps you have all the knowledge but just need an empathetic and neutral helper that’s got your back, you’ve come to the right place.
So who am I and what makes me think I could be the person you are looking for?
I am Katie Scullion and I am a life coach, level 3 personal trainer and have first hand experience of a chronic health condition, a challenging corporate career, and menopause. a multi-tasking middle aged woman!
Like many people I’ve tried every diet and way of eating and have been on the yo yo dieting cycle many times. Menopause has brought it’s own challenges and I’ve changed my protocol to counteract some of the symptoms.
All of this culminated in me setting up Katiescullionwellness and becoming themenopausept. I’ve been working with a group of women to support them with their goals and building a like minded community of wellness focussed women.
